Welcome to the weekly Wednesday Be Clean Be Green With Kids Link Up to share and garner ideas about simple ways to make family life a little easier, eco-conscious and sustainable. The ideas we share don’t have to be rocket science, so let’s help out another mom (or parent!) discover just the right idea to find a conscious cadence in everyday life.
On the blog this week…
Just Feeding The Goats To Celebrate A Boy Turning Three
With expectations sky high for a perfect Pinterest-worthy birthday party, hosting a young child’s birthday can easily become an overly stressful experience. Check out this lovely birthday party for one of J’s classmates that we attended a few weeks back. This is something with which I can definitely get on board.
Modern Mom Interview: Ralphie of Simply on Purpose
She’s an up-and-coming Instagram rockstar, and I couldn’t have been more excited to interview her. Ralphie, of Simply on Purpose, shares all sorts of brilliant yet simple ideas about how to be a more patient and peaceful parent. I’m addicted. Check out the interview with her and find out where to get your own fix of her great insights.
Is There Still A Bad Ass Banker Within Me?
Becoming a mom changes everything and, in my experience, can bring with it a serious case of Mom Guilt. Mom Guilt is bittersweet, an indication that I have lots of opportunities, for which I’m grateful, and many commitments that weigh on my heart and mind. I shared more about this internal battle I fight with myself as my own worst critic. I suspect many moms might be able to relate.
Now Share Your Family-Friendly Sustainable Living Ideas!
Let’s make it easier to learn how other families are finding creative ways to live cleaner and greener lives! Every Wednesday, stop by to share ideas about how your family is being clean and green. (You can also check the archives for ideas from previous weeks.)
There’s no need to be a blogger to participate. You can link up Instagram posts! Of course, you can always stop by just to see what everyone else is sharing. Be sure to Pin your favorite suggestions so you can find them later.
If you have a whole food recipe, a non-toxic DIY project, an upcycling or waste reduction trick or tip, or just an idea to help make family life a little simpler, share it below. The sky is the limit. Feel free to link up as many posts as you’d like!
There are no requirements about pinning or following or sharing in order to participate. Those kind of drive me crazy. But if you’re up for it, I’d certainly love for you to follow along with Honestly Modern on Instagram or YouTube or sign up for the bi-weekly email newsletter (which features a bunch of content that doesn’t make it to the blog).
Looking forward to seeing what’s working for your family!
